Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and BD Manager who will drive business growth and overall performance within the TELCO Value Added Services Industry. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand our market presence, build strong partnerships, and achieve revenue targets
Key Responsibilities:
• Partnership Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, in the TELCO VAS Industry, including partners, regulators, operators, and media providers.
• Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing competitive landscaping to identify opportunities and threats and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
• Sales and Business Development: Drive the full sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal writing to contract negotiation and ongoing relationship management. This includes:
o Proactively following up with all relevant stakeholders to close deals and ensure customer satisfaction.
o Preparing and presenting compelling business cases to secure new business.
o Assisting with RFP responses and proposal writing
• Project Management: Collaborate with partner/customer teams to manage and execute product launches, ensuring seamless organization, planning, and follow-up
Representation: Represent the company at local and international events, building brand awareness and expanding our network.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree/HND in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, or a related
technical field). MBA is a plus.
o Minimum 5-10 years of proven experience in a similar role, such as Account Manager or business development manager.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.

Technical Acumen:
• Tech-savvy with comfort level in a multidisciplinary environment (tech, marketing, etc
• Understanding mobile, web, and online advertising.
• Familiarity with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and Telco Value Added Services
• Knowledge of the tech startup ecosystem (e.g., Fintech, Martech, Insurtech).
Business Development & Sales:
• Proven experience in business partnerships and tech sales.
• Experience with budget management and cost control.
