Job Description
Functions
i. Managing financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
a. Manage all accounting transactions
b. Prepare budget forecasts
c. Publish financial statements in time
d. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
e. Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
f. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
ii. Ensure timely bank payments
iii. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
iv. Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
v. Audit financial transactions and documents
vi. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
vii. Comply with financial policies and regulations
viii. Manage the Invoice Account Register
Requirements
1. Work experience as an Accountant
2. ICAAN Certification is a plus
3. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally
Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
4. Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and
QuickBooks
5. Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables
6. Experience with general ledger functions
7. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
8. BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
9. Additional Certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
